お知らせ:日本研究センター開設 プレトリア大学ビジネススクール

今年一年、南アフリカと日本の外交関係100周年を記念して、日本大使館主催で様々な行事が行われている。そのハイライトとも言えるのが、プレトリア大学のビジネススクールGIBS内に設立された日本研究センター(Centre for Japanese Studies)。10月26日午前10時から、開設記念シンポジウムが開かれた。

9人のパネリストが各10分ずつスピーチした後、休憩を挟んで質疑応答が行われた。スピーチの聴衆は、日本と南アの政府、企業などから約80人。

歓迎の挨拶は、プレトリア大学の学長シェリル・デラレイ教授(Prof. Cheryl de la Ray, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, University of Pretoria)。進行役はステレンボッシュ大学政治学部のスカーレット・コーネリセン準教授(Prof. Scarlett Cornelissen, Associate Professor, University of Stellenbosch)。
